Cesar Chavez Film Screening, Mar. 14

Cesar Chavez chronicles the inspirational story behind Chavez and his civil rights revolution for farm workers. This biopic follows the personal life and struggles of Chavez as he organized the farm worker movement, advocating for living wages and better working conditions. Starring Michael Peña, America Ferrera, Rosario Dawson and John Malkovich, directed by Diego Luna.

This film screening is brought to CSUSM by the University Library and University Student Union Activities Board (USUAB), sponsored in part by Co-Curricular Grant funds. In support of CSUSM's 6th annual Common Read, Sal Si Puedes (Escape If You Can): Cesar Chavez and the New American Revolution.
