Cougars Unite for Third Annual Homecoming 2011

September 26 - October 1, 2011Building a distinctive and rich campus tradition, the spirit of homecoming at CSUSM has become an annual celebration featuring a week of lively events designed to reconnect and reunite alumni, students and the entire campus community.Throughout the week of September 26, CSUSM will host a variety of activities and events to enthuse school pride, including its ever popular CougarFest, the University’s annual carnival celebration held this year on Thursday, September 29. Homecoming will culminate on Saturday, October 1, with a double-header soccer game and barbeque at Mangrum Track and Field, as the Cougars defend their undefeated homecoming title against Biola University.Hundreds of attendees are expected at Saturday’s games where the University will also welcome its newest royal tradition by announcing and crowning its first Homecoming king and queen.
