CSUSM Celebrates Cultures of the World with Annual International Fair, April 15The 8th Annual International Fair is planned for Thursday, April 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the University Hall Plaza at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM).A celebration of the University's international community, admission to the International Fair is free and open to the public.Featured entertainment will include a cross-cultural rock band; global modern, tinikling (a popular folk dance of the Philippines), lion (a traditional Chinese dance) and salsa dances; and Tam Tam African drummers.  An international fashion show will showcase rich and colorful styles from around the world.Food is a traditional highlight of the International Fair. Visitors will be invited to sample a host of foods from around the world including grilled bratwurst, lumpia and pansit, carne asada, pita and hummus, chips and mole, chocolate mazo balls, boba tea and much more.The International Fair is organized by the University Global Affairs Committee and sponsored by a Co-Curricular Funding Award, the Office of Global Education, Associate Students Inc., Student Life and Leadership, and over a dozen student organizations.What:        The 8th Annual International FairWhen:       Thursday, April 15, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.mWhere:      California State University San Marcos (CSUSM) University Hall Plaza.Why:         To celebrate the university's international community.For more information, contact Danielle McMartin, Office of Global Education, at 760-750-8821.
