CSUSM Plans for Annual Cougar Scramble Golf Tournament

Shotgun start begins at noon.In a scramble golf tournament, each player tees off on each hole. The best of the tee shots is selected and all players play their second shots from that spot. The better of the second shots is determined and all play their third shots from that spot. This continues until the ball is holed. The scramble raises money for the university's golf teams and the alumni association.  All proceeds from the event go directly toward each program's scholarship endowments.Golfers may register as a team of four or as an individual to be placed on a team. The player fee is $195 for an individual or $750 for a team. This fee includes greens fees, cart fees, and gift bag including a polo shirt, an additional two-for-one golf pass at Lake San Marcos, a $25 gift certificate to Morton's, and a $10 gift certificate to Goldsmith.
