Every Day is Veterans Day at CSUSM

Co-sponsored by CSU Fullerton, Cal Poly Pomona, CSU San Bernardino, and San Diego State, Cal State San Marcos will be host to the "Every Day is Veterans Day" event on Saturday, April 30, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.Students admitted to the CSU for fall 2011 are welcome to come and enjoy a full day of information about what the CSU has to offer Veteran students.  Workshops will provide information on transitioning to the CSU and timelines and deadlines that need to be met, as well as an overview of support services and resources available to veteran and active duty students.  Students will also have an opportunity to meet with the veterans coordinator and team from the campus in which they have been accepted and plan to attend.  A community service resource and information fair will also take place.Continental breakfast and lunch will be served. Registration for this event is free but only open to students who have been accepted to the CSU for fall 2011. To register, visit www.csusm.edu/outreach/veterans/registration.htmlWhat: Every Day is Veterans Day event will provide incoming CSU veteran students with information and resources for transitioning to and succeeding in a CSU.When: Saturday, April 30  from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  Where: California State University San Marcos, Craven HallDirections and ParkingCSUSM is located at 333 S.
