"In the Panyard" Flim Screening on Sept. 19

An inspiring, award-winning documentary film chronicling the music and vibrant culture that surrounds the steel pan of Trinidad and Tobago, “In the Panyard” will debut on the silver screen at CSUSM on Wednesday, Sept. 19 at 7 p.m. in ARTS 111. Following the film screening, filmmaker and musician Keli Ross-Ma’u will perform a live concert with his steel drum school, Kainga Music. Tickets are required. Starting this semester, tickets will be required for all Arts & Lectures events. The change comes in an effort to streamline the admittance process for event-goers and equitably cover the production costs for each respective audience member.
