International Fair Brings the World to CSUSMThe 7th Annual International Fair is planned for Thursday, April 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m at Cal State San Marcos University Hall Plaza.A celebration of the university's international community, admission to the International Fair is free and open to the public as well as all CSUSM students, faculty and staff.Featured entertainment will include West African drummers, TAM TAM Mandingue, and the Hip Hop group Soul Junkies.  An international fashion show will showcase rich and colorful styles from around the world and visiting Professor Kwame Degbor will perform a Ghanaian dance.Food is a traditional highlight of the International Fair.  Visitors will also be able to sample various traditional dishes from Europe, Asia, Latin America, and more. In addition to food and entertainment, attendees are invited to participate in creating a peace flag to show support for world peace and understanding.The International Fair is organized by the University Global Affairs Committee and sponsored by a Co-Curricular Funding Award, the Office of Global Education, Associated Students, Inc,, Student Life and Leadership, LLC, and over a dozen student organizations.For more information, contact Danielle McMartin at 760-750-8821.
