Library Canned Food Drive
Give to those in need. Contribute to the Library's canned food drive today!
The current Library exhibit, the (In)Visible Project by Bear Guerra, presents an intimate and dignified human portrait of San Diego’s homeless population. Our food drive will support those in need here in North County.
All canned goods will go to Interfaith Community Services, a local non-profit that provides programs and services to help people in crisis stabilize and rebuild their lives. The food will be distributed at Interfaith centers in Escondido and Oceanside.
The drive will run from October 20 - December 16, 2016. Drop-off bin located near the Library 3rd floor elevators. Please donate:
- Hearty Soup
- Peanut Butter
- Jars of Jelly
- Mac & Cheese
- Canned Beans
- Canned Beef Stew
- Canned Chili
- Canned Fruit
- Canned Meat & Fish
- Canned Vegetables
