Opportunity to Learn and Raise Awareness about Stuttering, Dec. 2

The CSUSM chapter of the National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) and the Department of Speech-Language Pathology invite you to a screening of The Way We Talk, a documentary about one man's experience with stuttering and his journey to greater acceptance and understanding of the disorder.

After the screening, a Q&A session will be led by a panel of students and adults who stutter so audience members will get an opportunity to listen to various firsthand perspectives. CSUSM NSSLHA and the Department of Speech-Language Pathology hope to raise awareness about this disorder and the difficulties associated with it in order to improve quality of life and wellness throughout the community.

This is a crucial educational opportunity for students and professionals as we may potentially work with someone who stutters in our classroom, clinical practice, business or out in the community. Please join us and spread the word!
