U.S. Marshals EOD K9 Training, Jun. 6-8

Tuesday, June 6 through Thursday, June 8, the University Police Department (UPD) will conduct training exercises in conjunction with over a dozen Deputy U.S. Marshals and their explosive-detecting K9s.

The trainings will take place at locations on and off campus, including The McMahan House, The Sports Center and athletic fields, the University Village Apartments, UARSC (Carmel Street location) and underground campus utility tunnels.

The safety and welfare of our campus community is our highest priority. Joint-training exercises of this nature allow UPD to participate in specialized training and work collaboratively with other law enforcement agencies.

Should you have any questions, contact the University Police Department at 760-750-4567.

Jesus A. Flores,
Interim Chief of Police
