Library Hosting Photography Exhibit

The Cal State San Marcos library is hosting “Voices On The Inside: A Poetic Justice Self-Portrait Poetry and Photography Exhibit” on the third floor of Kellogg Library.
For “Voices On The Inside,” individuals incarcerated in women’s state prisons created their own self-portraits in collaboration with the Poetic Justice team and photographer Lisa Loftus. They share their stories through these photos and poems. A self-portrait allows individuals to transform, confront and empower.
Each semester, the library invites artists from all over the country to showcase their talents through its Context Library Series.
“Voices On The Inside: A Poetic Justice Self-Portrait Poetry and Photography Exhibit” can be viewed in person through December 2026 or online through the virtual exhibit.
