CAMP Program Renewed for Five Years at $2.4 Million

The U. S. Department of Education awarded CSUSM a five-year renewal grant totaling $2.4 million to continue the College Assistance Migrant Program from 2022-2027. The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) was authorized under Title IV, Section 418A of the Higher Education Act, as amended. The purpose of this grant program is to provide academic and financial support to help migrant and seasonal farmworkers and their immediate family members complete their first year of college and to continue in postsecondary education. CSUSM was fortunate to have been awarded the first CAMP grant in 2002 and has received continuous funding since then.
