Student Satisfaction Survey Ends Nov. 23

Dear faculty and staff,

Please help spread the word about the Student Satisfaction Inventory (SSI)! This survey, which went out to all undergraduate degree-seeking students at CSUSM (including both state-supported and Extended Learning programs), will help to inform the development of our campus’ forthcoming strategic enrollment plan. The survey will be available through Nov. 23.

The SSI was designed by higher education experts Ruffalo Noel Levitz to measure the importance of various aspects of students’ educational experiences as well as their level of satisfaction with those features. Students who complete the survey before the deadline will be entered to win one of five $50 Uber Eats gift cards.

Students should have received invitations and reminders from the Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs (via the email address StudentSuccessTech@RuffaloNL.com, sent by the survey vendor) containing their unique survey links. Students also can use their CSUSM username (Cougar email without the “@csusm.edu”) to access their survey through the appropriate links below:

Our survey response rate is below target, so we appreciate any and all efforts to help promote the survey to students in your classes, programs or organizations. Note that for majors that reach a critical mass of student respondents, our campus will have the ability to look at major-level data, which may produce richer insights to inform recruitment, enrollment and engagement strategies. A higher response rate also can help to ensure that the perspectives of smaller student populations and historically marginalized groups are better represented in the data.

Questions about the survey may be directed to the Office of Institutional Planning & Analysis at survey@csusm.edu.

Thank you for your support of this effort.
