Participate in County Vaccine Challenge

Are you looking for ways to share the importance of the COVID-19 vaccine, be creative independently or with friends making social media content, and do you need some extra spending money this summer? Then participate in San Diego County's "Our Health Is Worth a Shot!" youth challenge to raise awareness about the importance of the COVID-19 vaccine through video and visual art. Eligible participants will be organized into three groups -- ages 12–14, ages 15–17 and ages 18–24 -- to potentially place in platinum, gold or silver categories for the opportunity to:

  • be featured on the county website(s) with a link to your social media or professional website (if applicable);
  • have your video or visual art shared through county media communication outlets;
  • receive award certificates signed by the San Diego County Board of Supervisors chair, Health & Human Services Agency director and county public health officer; and
  • win gift card awards sponsored by San Diego County Credit Union with up to $1,200 for the platinum challenge winner.

This opportunity is offered to resident San Diego County youth and young adults 12-24 years old. Visit Coronavirus-SD.com/Challenge to get started today!

Submissions close on Monday, June 14 at 11:59 p.m.
