2017 Symposium on Student Research, Creative Activities and Innovation

Each year CSUSM hosts an annual symposium for undergraduate and graduate scholarly activities. This symposium is held to promote excellence by recognizing outstanding student accomplishments across the disciplines at CSUSM. Students’ research projects can be class or independent study projects that meet the research criteria for the competition. Projects completed during the prior spring and fall semesters are eligible to apply. Student participants will make oral presentations before juries of professional experts from major corporations, foundations, public agencies, and colleges and universities in California. Up to ten finalists receive cash awards and paid travel expenses to attend the statewide competition and compete against fellow CSU students from the twenty-three campuses.

Submission Deadline: February 9, 2017 at 11:59pm

Prep Session: February 16, 2017

Oral Presentations: February 24, 2017

CSU Statewide Competition: California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo - April 28-29, 2017
