Accelerating Inclusive Excellence Report and Discussion

Over the past 18 months, Chief Diversity Officer Dr. Aswad Allen has begun repositioning diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) as an institutional strategic framework. The Office of Inclusive Excellence would like to thank everyone across campus who helped with the DEI Inventory initiative. We invite our campus community to join us for lunch to participate in a report and discussion of the DEI Inventory efforts on Feb. 17 from noon-1:30 p.m. While a virtual option will be offered, lunch will be provided for those able to join us in person.   

The Accelerating Inclusive Excellence Report and Discussion, led by nationally recognized DEI scholar and expert Damon A. Williams, will provide the campus insight into our DEI Inventory. This event, facilitated by Dr. Williams and his team at the Center for Strategic Diversity Leadership and Social Innovation (CSDLSI) in partnership with the Office of Inclusive Excellence, will engage the campus community in learning more about ongoing DEI initiatives, highlights and challenges. In addition, Dr. Williams will provide some key outcomes and recommendations learned throughout the DEI Inventory initiative.
