Anthony Jett, Sr. Named Black Student Center Associate Director

Anthony Jett, Sr. has been selected as CSUSM's new associate director for the Black Student Center. He will begin his new position on Monday, Jan. 23.

Mr. Jett holds a master’s degree in Higher Education Leadership from Northcentral University in Prescott, Arizona, and six years of experience in higher education, including director of the Upward Bound Program and Talent Search at Malcolm X College in Chicago, Illinois. He has also served as the director of the Educational Opportunity Center and the Benton Harbor ConnectUp! Program at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, Michigan, where he also taught business and college success courses.

Under Mr. Jett’s leadership and with the support of the campus community, we look forward to the successful opening of the new Black Student Center as our students return this spring. An official ribbon-cutting ceremony will be announced at a later date.
