Appointment of Dr. Annie Macias as Interim ASI Executive Director

I would like to announce the appointment of Dr. Annie Macias, associate executive director of ASI, as interim executive director of Associated Students Inc. Dr. Macias has her Ph.D. in Higher Education Leadership with a strong background in student development theory, over twenty years’ experience working in higher education, and has been a member of our campus since 2013.

Dr. Macias has been providing steady leadership for Associated Students, Inc. since the beginning of the fall semester, while there has been a vacancy in the executive director position. Her continued leadership of ASI in the interim executive director role will provide stability and aid ASI in achieving its goals while we consider long-term plans for that area.
