Be a Part of the Equation against Sexual Violence

October is recognized as national Domestic Violence Awareness Month and was conceived by the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence.

At CSUSM, Student Health and Counseling Services is observing the month with a variety of events and activities to educate the campus community about unhealthy relationships, celebrate those who have survived an abusive relationship, connect students/faculty/staff to resources and a call to action to empower individuals to be an active bystander or "upstander." This means saying or doing something if they see something and be part of the equation to end all sexual violence.

Please visit our webpage for more information on the events: http://www.csusm.edu/hope/programevents/index.html. If you have questions or concerns, please contact Cathy Nguyen at cnguyen@csusm.edu and/or Christa Wencl at cwencl@csusm.edu.
