Nominate Someone for Leadership in Education Award
The Asian Pacific Fund, a nonprofit foundation serving the San Francisco Bay Area, is announcing a call for nominations for the 2023 Chang-Lin Tien Leadership in Education Award. As the only program of its kind in the nation, the award recognizes an Asian American/Pacific Islander (AAPI) who has achieved significant academic accomplishments and demonstrates the potential to advance to the highest leadership levels in higher education. It honors the legacy of Dr. Chang-Lin Tien, a founding board member of the Asian Pacific Fund and the first AAPI to head a major U.S. research university when he became chancellor of the University of California, Berkeley in 1990.
