Campus Climate Survey Responses Will Contribute to the Student Emergency Fund

We want to encourage the participation of our campus community in the current Viewfinder climate survey. Your response can make a difference in building an inclusive and welcoming work environment at CSUSM, so please complete the survey by May 4. The survey will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The survey is anonymous, so a unique link was sent to you to take the survey (look for the reminder email from Viewfinder, sent on Tuesday, April 27).

To help encourage participation, we are engaging in a friendly competition among divisions regarding the response rate.

To remind us that everything we do is connected to student success, the President’s Administrative Team (PAT) has agreed that divisions will contribute to the student emergency fund in proportion to each division’s respective response rate. Your participation counts and makes an impact! Observe how your division is doing with its response rate at https://www.csusm.edu/equity/climate/index.html.

All survey results will be anonymous. Respondents will receive an exclusive “Making an Impact at CSUSM” virtual background compatible with Zoom and Microsoft Teams. At the end of the survey, you will also have the chance to enter an opportunity drawing for the following items:

  • One of 50 exclusive “Making an Impact at CSUSM” T-shirts
  • One bookstore gift bag, including a CSUSM T-shirt, mask, mug and more
  • One of four Bluetooth wireless speakers

We have an FAQ page if you have additional questions, or you can contact campusclimate@csusm.edu.
