Campus-Wide Building Evacuation Drill, Mar. 16

A campus-wide building evacuation drill will be held at 11:45 a.m. on Friday, March 16. The drill is in compliance with California State University Executive Order No. 1056, which requires each campus in the system to conduct a building evacuation drill at least once annually.

Timeline
March 16 at 11:45 a.m. we will send out a message via the emergency notification system to start the evacuation drill. We will utilize the Desktop alert, digital signage, Library PA, Cougar Central PA, campus phone system and text to get the message out to evacuate the buildings. The drill is expected to last 15-20 minutes.

Drill Start Message: This is a Drill! Please evacuate the building at this time. Wait for an all clear before returning to the building. This is a Drill!

Once the drill is complete, we will make an announcement over the outdoor loud speakers, digital signage and text message to end the drill.

All Clear Message: This ends the Drill! All Clear, you may now return to the building. This ends the Drill!

Please contact Emergency Manager Robert Williams at rwilliam@csusm.edu with any questions.
