CASA Cigarette Packaging Research Study

Do you or any one you know smoke regular-sized cigarettes every day? This study might interest you.

Researchers at UCSD and Cal State San Marcos are looking for participants who live in North San Diego county to help understand the influence of cigarette packaging. We are looking for people who:

  • smoke regular size-cigarettes every day
  • are 21-65 years old
  • are willing to come to Cal State San Marcos
  • and have a cell phone plan with text messaging.

You may receive up to a total of $400 for your participation.

Eligible participants will buy specially packaged cigarettes from the study for four months, interact with text messages, and attend three clinic visits at Cal State San Marcos during the one-year study period.

You can also take a quick survey to see if you are eligible:https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1v5qu-VkHZcBQZWsgt_iOnB4kycFb-HtaiHSO9YMsDkQ/viewform
