CSUSM Prepares to Graduate its Largest Class

With the highest number of eligible degree candidates, the graduating Class of 2012 at CSUSM is expected to be the largest in the history of the University by 17 percent. More than 2,600 undergraduate, graduate students and teacher credential candidates will graduate as part of CSUSM’s 21st annual commencement on Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19, 2012.Held on the Mangrum Track and Field at CSUSM, degrees will be conferred at four ceremonies, one planned for each of the university’s four colleges. Nearly 18,000 total guests are expected to attend the four ceremonies, with each ceremony lasting about two hours.
