CSUSM Student Multimedia Arts Exhibition “Texture of Time," Dec. 15

Texture of Time, a collaborative art exhibit featuring student artists at California State University San Marcos (CSUSM), will take place on Tuesday, December 15 in the Arts Building. Join the artists for a receiption from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

The exhibition is a culmination of student work for the course, Materials and Themes of Contemporary Art, taught by Professor Judit Hersko, which explores themes such as body, memory and spirituality. The art on display reflects a semester-long creative process based on readings, field trips and research presentations that have exposed the students to the work of contemporary artists. Texture of Time combines the themes discussed in class with the personal passions, curiosity and artistic sensibility of each individual artist.
