Donate for Dignity: Help Support Persons who are Homeless in our Community Today
At Cal State San Marcos, graduate students in Sociology are partnering this March with THINK DIGNITY, a non-profit working to advance basic human dignity for persons who are homeless in and throughout our San Diego County community, to collect donations of adult business attire for the 2019 Community Job Fair. The 2019 Community Job Fair event is an effort to support folks who are homeless with an opportunity to interview with potential local employers. THINK DIGNITY will be on-site to provide folks with appropriate clothing garments and accessories to enhance their interviewing and networking experiences. We ask for your support in realizing the collection of the items listed below between March 8 - March 22.
- Professional/ Business Casual Clothes for Men and Women (e.g., collared shirts/ button-ups, blazers, sweaters, slacks, dresses, socks)
- Professional/ Business Casual Closed-Toe Shoes for Men and Women (all sizes)
- Accessories (e.g., ties, necklaces, earrings, tights, hairpins)
