Donate to the Employee Giving Campaign "Our Promise"

 The 2022 Employee Giving Campaign, “Our Promise,” formerly known as the California State Employees’ Charitable Campaign, has begun and will run through Saturday, Dec. 31.

Join fellow state employees in celebrating 65 years of caring for California! Together, we have raised nearly $5 million for nonprofits every year during the Our Promise campaign. Nearly one in three California households lack the income to meet basic needs despite working full-time, and nearly half of young children live in struggling households. Nonprofits throughout the state provide vital resources for people experiencing poverty, homelessness, food insecurity and more.

You can “Care for California” with as little as $5 per month, the average cost of one latte. With the convenience of payroll deduction, you can support the charitable agency of your choice and make a difference. In solidarity with thousands of your colleagues, your gift will make a huge impact on the state and the lives of those relying on the services nonprofits provide.

You can support CSUSM by making a donation to the CSUSM Foundation. All gifts to the university are accepted and administered by The California State University San Marcos Foundation, an official 501(c)(3) auxiliary organization of CSUSM. Consider setting up a payroll deduction or increasing your donation through Cal Employee Connect.

Giving back is as easy as 1-2-3:
1. Visit Cal Employee Connect. (You may need to set up an Our Promise account if you haven't already done so.)
2. Select your favorite nonprofit(s). You can donate to the CSUSM Foundation using the ‘Write In’ section and include Tax ID: 80-0390564.
3. Complete your payroll deduction or pay with Visa, MasterCard, Amex or Discover card.
