Experts Needed in Visaya/Bisayan and Shona

The Language Learning Center offers testing in all languages in the world, so that students may meet the Language Other Than English Requirement (LOTER) with true educational equity.

We have received three new requests this fall! Students would like to test in 1) Visaya or Bisayan and  2) Shona.

We now seek a CSUSM faculty or staff member to serve as an evaluator for each languae (or an adult colleague referred by CSUSM staff or faculty). The evaluator must know the language at an advanced level in both writing and speaking, and will be paid $30 per hour for this 2-4 hour project. While small in sum and time, this will be a huge gift for the student to ensure timely graduation and educational equity. Plus it's fun!
