CSUSM Environmental Studies Program is hosting a panel to discuss fire, fire polic, and San Diego’s ecosystem. Join local experts Deputy Chief Kevin Lawson of CAL FIRE, San Marcos Fire Chief Brett Van Wey, current and former San Diego Fire Chiefs Brian Fennessy and Jeff Bowman, Van Collinsworth and Richard Halsey of The California Chaparral Institute to learn more about the complex relationship between fire and San Diego County, and our options for the future at this free event on Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 4 p.m. in the Kellogg Library on CSU San Marcos campus, room 5400.
