Friday Commencement Ceremonies Rescheduled to Sunday due to Inclement Weather

California State University San Marcos announces that commencement ceremonies originally scheduled for Friday, May 15 at the Mangrum Track and Field will be rescheduled to Sunday, May 17 due to inclement forecasted weather and for the safety and comfort of guests, graduates, faculty and staff. Saturday’s ceremonies will go on as scheduled.

Three ceremonies were originally scheduled for Friday at 10 a.m. (College of Business Administration), 1 p.m. (College of Science and Mathematics) and 4:30 p.m. (College of Education, Health and Human Services). However, the National Weather Service is forecasting a 90 percent chance of showers and possibly a thunderstorm.

Below is the revised commencement schedule:

Saturday, May 16 at 9 a.m.

College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral & Social Sciences – Ceremony A

Saturday, May 16 at 1:30 p.m.

College of Humanities, Arts, Behavioral & Social Sciences – Ceremony B

Sunday, May 17 at 10 a.m.

College of Business Administration

Sunday, May 17 at 1 p.m.

College of Science and Mathematics

Sunday, May 17 at 4:30 p.m.

College of Education, Health and Human Services
