Galaxy Note 7 Phones Banned on Campus

Due to safety concerns, CSUSM is banning Galaxy Note 7 devices from campus (including all campus buildings and all vehicles driven or parked on campus). In cooperation with the U.S. Consumer Product and Safety Commission (CPSC), Samsung has issued a full recall on all Galaxy Note 7 devices, and has discontinued manufacture and distribution of the Galaxy Note 7. Samsung recommends that consumers with a Galaxy Note 7 power it down immediately and contact the carrier or retail outlet where they purchased the device.
