New Mechanism Provides Notification of Operational Status of Campus Elevators

Disability Support Services, Facilities Development & Management, and Instructional & Information Technology Services have partnered to develop a mechanism to provide notification regarding the operational status of our campus elevators. With this, we are happy to announce the completion of the Elevator Status Map and Notification project. The campus elevator map and accompanying list view displays all current service statuses (i.e. in service, out of service), floors of building serviced, and if there are floor or time restrictions.

The map is available to all and can be viewed here. It is also available on the CSUSM campus app by tapping the menu icon in the top right of the screen and selecting Elevator Status. You can also opt in to receive elevator status notifications via the app by tapping the Messages button in the top right of the screen and tapping the opt-in button or by email here.
