Opening on University Budget Committee for AY 2017/2018 – AY 2019/2020
There is a staff vacancy (non-MPP) for the University Budget Committee (UBC). The staff representative will serve a three-year term beginning AY 2017/2018 through AY 2019/2020.

All applicants must be able to attend the UBC meeting on Friday, Dec.8 from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Spring meetings dates are TBD.
UBC background information
- Advisory body to the President and the President’s Executive Council.
- Receives from the President an annual charge of responsibilities (typically, to develop recommendations on an as-needed basis, as charged by the President).
- Membership is comprised of a representative from each division (designated by the respective Provost or Vice President), faculty and student representatives who serve based on the position they hold in the Academic Senate or Associated Students, Inc., and a staff representative who is appointed to a three-year term by the President after receiving the Staff and Administrative Appointments Committee’s recommendation.
- UBC is co-chaired by Graham Oberem, Provost and Vice President, Academic Affairs and Neal Hoss, Vice President, Finance & Administrative Services.
