Registration Open For 2023 Social Justice Symposium

Cal State San Marcos students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to participate in the annual Social Justice Symposium, a two-day event that includes workshops and roundtable discussions surrounding social justice topics. 

The event is Tuesday, Feb. 21 and Wednesday, Feb. 22 in the USU Ballroom from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Free registration is available online

The symposium provides an opportunity to increase social consciousness levels and skills by offering critical dialogues focusing on cultural, economic and political national climate issues. Conference participants will explore and challenge personal perceptions and social norms through experiential activities, individual reflections and group dialogues. 

The symposium is hosted by the Cross-Cultural Center in collaboration with the Student Life Centers for Identity, Inclusion and Empowerment; the Office of Inclusive Excellence; and ASI.
