Sedentary Women Needed for Exercise Study

If you are a woman between the ages of 18-50 who:

  • Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 35-45 kg/m2;
  • Have no Metabolic diseases and are deemed “healthy”
  • Are sedentary or do not participate in formal exercise

You may qualify for a research study examining the effects of high intensity interval training on cardiac function, aerobic fitness and body composition. Eligible subjects will undergo an exercise intervention for eight weeks both at home and in the Human Performance Lab (Academic Hall 113) at California State University, San Marcos. Subjects will be compensated for time and travel.
