Sign Up Now for a "Stop The Bleed" Training

The "Stop the Bleed" program was developed to train people on the basic techniques of controlling and stopping a life-threatening bleed. The program is designed to work in any situation where there might be a bleeding emergency — not just in the event of an active-shooter situation. This one-hour training will give participants the confidence and skills to stop a life-threatening bleed and save someone's life. Participants will receive a course completion certificate from Stop the Bleed. This class will be held on Oct. 1 in Markstein Hall from 12:30-1:30 p.m.

Cai Steffler from Safety, Health & Sustainability will be leading the training. You can sign up in the Employee Training Center; this class is limited to 15 people.
