Student Safety Ambassadors Promoting Message of Safety and Compliance

Student Safety Ambassadors have started promoting a message of safety and compliance with COVID guidelines in building spaces around campus as of Monday, Oct. 4. Our Safety Ambassadors are using a peer education model to promote and encourage proper indoor mask wearing and other safety protocols and will be easily identifiable in their blue vests. As a reminder, Student Safety Ambassadors are working to support a safe campus environment but have no enforcement authority. Ensuring a safe campus environment relies on the entire CSUSM community to do our part; our Safety Ambassadors will help reinforce safety messages to the entire campus community in a positive and proactive manner.
