The Chronicle of Higher Education Great Colleges to Work for Survey

CSUSM will once again participate in the Chronicle’s Great Colleges to Work for Survey. The survey is designed to recognize institutions that have built great workplaces, and more importantly, will provide us with important information about our campus’ climate, inclusiveness and organizational culture. The feedback from this survey is a valuable tool to help us assess our working environment and continue building a positive culture. I encourage you to take this survey and share your feedback regarding working at CSUSM.

Your responses are confidential. To ensure the confidentiality of your responses, the survey will be processed by ModernThink LLC, a research and consulting firm focusing on organizational culture and workplace excellence. We will not receive any identifying information that would enable us to trace survey responses back to any one individual. The survey was designed specifically for higher education and will be available for you to complete March 27-April 14, 2017. When you receive the invitation, please take a moment to complete the survey. Your participation is entirely voluntary and you may discontinue participation at any time while completing it.

Your participation and honest feedback are critical to the assessment process. A high response rate helps ensure accurate results and demonstrates the commitment of our workforce to continuous improvement and excellence. It is important we assess our collective efforts in campus climate, diversity, inclusiveness and talent development. The Great Colleges Survey is a national and proven tool that provides this opportunity. As in 2014, ModernThink consultants will provide survey results to our campus, and we will develop recommendations and actions based on the feedback in order to continue enhancing our campus culture.

Watch your inbox during the survey period for instructions on how to access the survey. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact Jennifer Williams, director of Campus Climate, at jwilliam@csusm.edu, the Institutional Planning and Analysis Office at survey@csusm.edu or visit the Chronicle’s Web Site: www.chroniclegreatcolleges.com.

Thank you for your participation and support in this important initiative.
