BFSA to Host Panel Discussion on 'A Different World'
By Sam Stenroos
Cal State San Marcos' Black Faculty and Staff Association will be hosting a panel discussion on Oct. 27 from 5-7 p.m. at the Black Student Center in USU 3300. This free event will be featuring a showing of the new Netflix sequel series to the 1980s hit show “A Different World.”
The panel discussion will examine how the show has changed since its original premiere by showing an episode from the original series along with an episode of the new sequel.
BFSA members will be discussing race relations, answering questions and engaging in meaningful discussion with the audience about how to move things forward in society. Light refreshments will be served.
