CoBA to Host Professional Development Events

Cal State San Marcos’ College of Business Administration is hosting multiple events as part of its fall 2026 Business Professional Development class.
Networking nights will be held from 5-7:30 p.m. on Oct. 14 and 22 in the USU Ballroom. These events are structured small-group networking rounds with guided discussion prompts. Professionals share their stories, offer industry insights and answer students' questions. This experience helps students gain confidence, sharpen their communication skills and explore career pathways.
Business professionals interested in participating can register online.
CoBA is also hosting mock interviews for business students. Professionals ask interview-style questions, evaluate communication and professionalism, and provide clear, constructive feedback. This helps build confidence, strengthen interview skills and help students stand out in today’s competitive job market.
The mock interviews will take place on Nov. 2, 9 and 10 in the USU and Nov. 12 in the Kellogg Library Reading Room. Students can register online.
