Goldwater Scholarship Application Open for Students
By Moyosore Ayo-Ogunyemi
Applications are open for the Goldwater Scholarship, which supports outstanding students interested in research careers in the natural sciences, mathematics and engineering.
To apply, students must be nominated by a single institution through their campus representative; schools may submit up to four annual nominations, or up to six if they include transfer or veteran students.
This scholarship covers eligible undergraduate expenses for tuition, fees, books and room and board up to $7,500 per academic year for up to two years.
Visit the Barry Goldwater Foundation Scholarship website for more information on eligibility and applying.
After reviewing the steps and eligibility, students may contact campus representative Robert Iafe with questions.
The internal campus deadline to apply is Nov. 15.
