Innovation Hub's Learning Experience Designer Recognized

Howard Chan, the learning experience designer for the Innovation Hub at Cal State San Marcos, was recently recognized as one of the San Diego Business Journal's Asian American Pacific Islander Leaders of Influence for 2026.
Chan, who has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and a master’s in cross-cultural teaching, has worked for over 30 years in fields spanning workforce development, industry and education.
An engineer, educator and entrepreneur, Chan has championed innovative education models worldwide and continues to inspire students and teachers with creative, hands-on learning styles.
