President Welcomes Educators From Taiwan
Cal State San Marcos President Ellen Neufeldt welcomed a delegation of educators representing Changhua County, Taiwan, to campus on Feb. 1. Both parties affirmed their commitment to partnership development and discussed future collaborations.
Delegates presented commemorative gifts to Neufeldt, who reciprocated with a CSUSM-branded blanket.
CSUSM and the Changhua County Government held a virtual signing ceremony for a memorandum of understanding (MOU) last June. The MOU creates an educational partnership fostering internationalization of the CSUSM campus and creation of affordable study abroad opportunities for Changhua County schools. The American Language and Culture Institute and Global Programs and Services in Extended Learning will play a pivotal role in the development of this partnership.
