Veterans Services, CSTEM to Host Chow on Deck

Cal State San Marcos’ Veterans Services and College of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (CSTEM) invite students to an outdoor cookout for Chow on Deck at the Epstein Family Veterans Center deck from noon-1 p.m. on Nov. 17.
Individuals can enjoy free food and music while networking in a relaxed, informal setting with local industry partners, CSTEM faculty and military-connected students.
CSUSM represents the highest per capita concentration of student veterans in the CSU system, housing nearly 500 veterans and serving more than 1,800 military-connected students who make up 11% of the university’s student body.
CSUSM also earned the 2026-2027 Military Friendly School designation, receiving a Gold Award for its work on behalf of military-connected students and their families.
