Arts & Lectures Hosts 'Piano for Two' on March 3
The third Arts & Lectures event of the spring semester features Cal State San Marcos music professor Dr. Ching-Ming Cheng, an award-winning piano virtuoso who has wowed audiences around the world, presenting a piano recital alongside pianist Dr. Janet Kao.
The concert is at 7 p.m., March 3 in the Arts Building. The event is free for CSUSM students. Faculty, staff, alumni and community members can purchase tickets online via the Arts & Lectures website.
Cheng, a classically trained, award-winning piano virtuoso who has wowed audiences around the world, will present a piano recital alongside Kao. The two pianists will perform repertoire written specially for four hands on one piano. There will be festival, dance, fantasy and more.
CSUSM’s Arts & Lectures series offers a diverse lineup of artistic, cultural and scholarly events every semester based on input and proposals from students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members.
