Festival Returns to Serve Up Support for Students

CSUSM will host its annual Taste for Student Success, a lively outdoor festival showcasing gourmet cuisine, fine wines, craft brews and premium spirits on Saturday, Oct. 19 from 3 to 6 p.m. Proceeds support student success programs and scholarships.
The 21-and-up event is held on the university’s picturesque Kellogg Plaza. Guests can browse and bid on unique and popular items in a silent auction, while sampling food and drinks from more than 40 exhibitors.
This year's exhibitors include Karl Strauss Brewing Company, Ballast Point Brewing Company, Rasta Rita, Mendocino Farms, Fresh Healthy Cafe, Spinning Meats Catering, Twin Oaks Valley Winery, Pizza Nova, Wavelength Brewing Co., La Fleur's Winery, Epic Wings N' Things, CaliFino Tequila, Mike Hess Brewing, Mason Ale Works, KIN Whiskey, BK Cellars, Henebery Spirits, Urge, Wholly Crepe, Mama Kat's, Pick Up Stix, Dos Desperados, Fallbrook Winery, The Steeping Giant Coffee, Hungry Hawk Vineyard and Winery, Chef's Pho & Grill, Newtopia Cyder, Markstein Beverage Co., Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, Brothers Signature Catering & Events, Boochcraft, Ignite Bistro, Mr. Taco, Culver Beer Company, Pizza Port, Hebe Kombucha, Stone Brewing Co., Rip Current Brewing, Dickey's Barbeque Pit, Sodexo, Station Pizza, and D'liteful Chocolat.
Tickets include event admission, tastes from all participating restaurants and unlimited pours from wineries, breweries and distilleries, and event parking.
