Podcast Host to Discuss Addiction at Arts & Lectures Event
The first fall Arts & Lectures event features Jeannine Coulter, a successful fitness entrepreneur and host of the popular addiction recovery podcast “Chasing Heroine.”
The event is at 6 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the USU Ballroom. Reserve tickets online via the Arts & Lectures website.
Coulter will share her story about overcoming her drug and alcohol addiction after 15 years. Her addictions led to multiple arrests, homelessness and the loss of everything – which she considers to be the best thing that ever happened to her. Sober since Jan. 15, 2015, Coulter will share her personal story with addiction and homelessness and her recovery journey that embraced exercise, gratitude and spirituality as critical pillars to achieve success. She will give the audience specific and easily implemented fitness tools to help manage any life challenge, elevate self-esteem and achieve even the most ambitious life goals.
CSUSM’s Arts & Lectures series offers a diverse lineup of artistic, cultural and scholarly events every semester based on input and proposals from students, faculty, staff, alumni and community members. Attendees can reserve tickets online via the Arts & Lectures website.
