Registration Open for Annual Social Justice Symposium

Cal State San Marcos students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to participate in the annual Social Justice Symposium, a two-day hybrid event that includes workshops and roundtable discussions surrounding social justice topics.

The event will be virtual on Tuesday, March 15 and in the USU Ballroom from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16. Free registration is available online.

The symposium provides an opportunity to increase social consciousness levels and skills by offering critical dialogues focusing on cultural, economic and political national climate issues. Conference participants will explore and challenge personal perceptions and social norms through experiential activities, individual reflections and group dialogues.

The symposium is hosted by the Cross-Cultural Center in collaboration with the Student Life Centers for Identity, Inclusion and Empowerment; the Office of Inclusive Excellence; and ASI.
